According to The Verge, Microsoft is going to start updating Windows on an annual basis at low cost.

It’s a sad and sorry state of affairs that the best PC operating system released in the past 3 years is/was Windows 7 (which took the crown from OSX Tiger, the last version of OS X that wasn’t a complete slow motion carcrash).

iOS has a lot to answer for.
