<p>Through <strong>sheer chance</strong> I have come one step closer to the realisation of that most wondrous fantasy foodstuff, the <strong>egg supper</strong>. In the recent <strong>&#8216;Eggs Factor&#8217;</strong> (no, really) competition the redoubtable Sergio Neale produced a quite marvellous gustative treat, <a href="http://www.eggrecipes.co.uk/eggsfactor/pea_bacon.html"><strong>deep fried egg with pea, bacon and chicory salad</strong></a> Deep fried egg! The most important component of an egg supper! Needless to say I&#8217;ve been leaping about with sheer excitement, clapping my hands and making a variety of whooping sounds. All we need now is for some brave chip shop proprietor to put his or her best deep fat fryer forward and make the egg supper a reality. <strong>CHIP PEOPLE OF GREAT BRITAIN I IMPLORE YOU, FRY THESE EGGS FOR VICTORY.</strong></p>

<blockquote style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 40px; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: none; padding: 0px" class="webkit-indent-blockquote"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px" class="Apple-style-span">A husband wanted to learn how to make an omelette. <p> Stupid husbands!  They&#8217;re all stupid!<br />
<blockquote style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 40px; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: none; padding: 0px" class="webkit-indent-blockquote"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px">Q. <p>Yes you can.  If it&#8217;s a really big egg. <br />
<blockquote style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 40px; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; border-style: none; padding: 0px" class="webkit-indent-blockquote"><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px" class="Apple-style-span">There were two eggs being boiled in a saucepan. <p>I&#8217;m sure they were both saying &#8216;arghhhh!!&#8217;, as they were both being boiled.  They probably went rather quiet soon after. Don&#8217;t worry avid readers, I&#8217;ve come up with my own yolk (joke):</p>
<p>What do you call an egg on a bus?  The ticket insp<span style="font-weight: bold" class="Apple-style-span">egg</span>tor!</p>
<p>Please don&#8217;t cry. </p>

<p>I couldn&#8217;t have happened upon this treasure-trove of eggy knowledge at a better time, as I <span style="font-weight: bold" class="Apple-style-span">do</span> have a question about eggs &#8211; <span style="font-style: italic" class="Apple-style-span">why are eggs so lovely to hold</span>?  I&#8217;ve asked the British Egg Information Service, and will let you know the moment I receive their reply. </p>
